My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you've been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. You're deeply rooted in him. You're well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you've been taught. School's out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:7. MSG translation)

In my entire near 27 years of life (because holy heck in 3 weeks I WILL BE 27 YEARS OLD!!!!, still can't get over that since I don't even FEEL 18!), I have NEVER, never, NEVER met a priest, a pastor, a minister, a bishop, - ANYONE - who has come close to what my 'Priest' does... I have, hands down, the most amazing priest. He is 3.5 hours away from me - so I only get to attend my 'home church' so much - but every time I do, my heart is spoken too, my soul is awakened, and my life is transformed. I pray that EACH AND EVERY one that reads my blog - is able to have that experience with someone in their life - (not just Christianity, but anything that SPEAKS to your SOUL!).

Happy Birthday, Father Kim. Thank you for completely saving me when I needed you (and you didn't even know), thank you for transforming my life (when you didn't know), thank you for keeping me alive (when you didn't know), thank you for showing me the selfish attention I craved (when you didn't know), thank you for having experienced the difficulties and trials that i have [specifically!!!](that you do know). Merely, beyond words and gratitude - I thank my heavenly father this man, this PRIEST, is in my life... who KNEW?!?!?!?

God knows - I've attended Mormon, non denominational, Episcopal, baptist, four square, non denominational with the KOOL AID (which lead me to 'falling on the floor and feeling the lord, aka hallucinations), catholic etc and ABOVE BEYOND AND HOLY HECK WHO KNEW ETC!!!, who knew (besides our Heavenly Father) that my life would take such a circle and lead me back in to the ways I was raised - the heart that was taught -  the soul that somehow craved - Christianity. (Because while Episcopalianism is just a sect of protestantism I am merely a lover of the true LORD, Jesus Christ! no matter where I 'attend' on Sundays!).

Happy Birthday, Father Kim.
I wish I could thank you with my awkward words,
but though they are not there,
I hope you can know
my truest, deepest of deepest,
gratitude!
